Description
I could see my reflection in this Northern Water Snake's eye as I peered through the view finder and I'm sure that the snake could also see its reflection in my lens. It's the first and only time I've been able to capture macro images of a snake. I was out in thigh deep water photographing Damselflies when I came across this snake resting in the boughs of a Blueberry Bush hanging over the water. Surprisingly, he did not flee. For most of this shoot I was only 9-12 inches from him.Other photos in this shoot are linked below. Use the slideshow feature to see the images in full size.

Can see you in the reflection of the eye.
Did you tie this dude to something or what? lol
Can you maybe make the eye even sharper in post editing, or?
