When all things come together ... a beautiful and cooperative subject such as this Swamp Sparrow, a pleasing background, a cyan sky, and warm morning light. I took this photo back in October at Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge in South Kingstown, RI

Beautiful capture Michelle! Everything came together on this shot. The background compliments the Swamp Sparrow perfectly, and the focus and DOF are spot on! The composition is wonderful. I love the pose of the bird. Just classic Thank you for dedicating such a beautiful image to me.

Perspective and lighting work well together as bird rests upon a branch. Shapes created by birds' form interacting with branch and surrounding area helps to bring viewer into this scene. There seems to some areas of blur, but they probably are from the over active nature that is seen in many smaller birds. Darker areas, mainly those near to bird are some-what distracting though. Well done.
